തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ, പൂങ്കുന്നം ഹരി ശ്രീ വിദ്യാനിധി സ്കൂളിൽ ഒരു ചിത്രകളാധിഷ്ഠിത ബോധവൽക്കരണ പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. സ്കൂളിലെ കലാ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life ” എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ പോസ്റ്ററുകൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു.വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, ബോധവൽക്കരണം, സമൂഹ പങ്കാളിത്തം എന്നിവയിലൂടെ മയക്കുമരുന്ന് ദുരുപയോഗം തടയുന്നതിനുള്ള എൻ‌സി‌ബിയുടെ നിരന്തര ശ്രമങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് ഈ പരിപാടികൾ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് മയക്കുമരുന്നിന്റെ ഭീഷണിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇരയാകുന്ന യുവാക്കളെ ലക്ഷ്യം വച്ചുള്ളതാണ് ഈ പരിപാടികൾ.

NCB Cochin Conducts Awareness Programmes in Connection with Nationwide Drug Awareness Campaign

konnivartha.com: As part of the Nationwide Drug Awareness Campaign scheduled for August 15–16, 2025, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Cochin conducted a series of awareness programmes across educational institutions in Ernakulam and Thrissur districts on August 14, 2025.

The initiatives aimed at sensitizing students and youth on the ill-effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life. Sessions included interactive talks, audio-visual presentations, and student-led activities.

In Ernakulam district, awareness programmes were held at the following institutions:
Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Vaduthala
Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Kadavanthra
MPM Higher Secondary School, Thammana
Bhavan’s Arts and Commerce College, Kakkanad
Sree Narayana Guru College of Engineering, Pattimattom
Cochin Arts and Science College, Kakkanad
Al Ameen Higher Secondary School, Edappally
Bhavan’s Royal Institute of Management, ThrippunithuraIn Thrissur district, an art-based awareness activity was organised at Hari Sri Vidyanidhi School, Punkunnam, where high school students created posters on the theme “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life” at the school’s Art Department.

The programmes form part of NCB’s continuous efforts to curb drug abuse through education, awareness, and community participation, particularly targeting young people who are most vulnerable to the menace of narcotics.
