അതിദരിദ്രരില്ലാത്ത ജില്ലയായി പത്തനംതിട്ട :പ്രഖ്യാപനം നടത്തി മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോര്‍ജ്; 2392 കുടുംബങ്ങളെ അതിദാരിദ്ര്യമുക്തരാക്കി
പത്തനംതിട്ടയെ അതിദാരിദ്ര്യമുക്ത ജില്ലയായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോര്‍ജ്. കലക്ടറേറ്റ് കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സ് ഹാളില്‍ നടന്ന ജില്ലാ വികസന സമിതിയിലാണ് മന്ത്രിയുടെ പ്രഖ്യാപനം.
ജില്ലയിലെ 2392 കുടുംബങ്ങളെ അതിദാരിദ്ര്യ മുക്തമാക്കി ആവശ്യമായ ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉറപ്പാക്കി. ജില്ലയില്‍ അതിദരിദ്രരില്ലാത്ത തുമ്പമണ്‍ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് ഒഴികെ 56 തദ്ദേശസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലായി 2579 കുടുംബങ്ങളെയാണ് അതിദരിദ്രരായി ആദ്യം കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
ഇവരില്‍ മരണപ്പെട്ടവര്‍, അലഞ്ഞു തിരിഞ്ഞു നടക്കുന്നവര്‍, കണക്കില്‍ ഇരട്ടിച്ചവര്‍ എന്നിങ്ങനെ 187 പേരെ ഒഴിവാക്കി. ഭക്ഷണം, ആരോഗ്യം, വരുമാനം, വാസസ്ഥലം എന്നീ പൊതുഘടങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി ഓരോ കുടുബത്തിനും ആവശ്യമായ സേവനം ഉള്‍പെടുത്തിയാണ് മൈക്രോപ്ലാന്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്. 724 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഭക്ഷണം, 924 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ആരോഗ്യ സേവനം, 327 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പാര്‍പ്പിടം, 91 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വരുമാന ഉപാധികള്‍ എന്നിവ ലഭ്യമാക്കി.
ആരോഗ്യ സേവനം ആവശ്യമുള്ള കുടുംബങ്ങളില്‍ 157 കിടപ്പു രോഗികള്‍ക്ക് പരിപാലനവും ആറ് പേര്‍ക്ക് ചികത്സ ഉപകരണവും ഉറപ്പാക്കി. അവകാശം അതിവേഗം പദ്ധതിയിലുള്‍പ്പെടുത്തി 808 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിവിധ അവകാശ രേഖ അനുവദിച്ചു. കുടിവെള്ളം, ടോയ്‌ലറ്റ്, വീട്, വൈദ്യുതീകരണം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി. സേവന ഗുണമേന്മ ഉറപ്പാക്കാന്‍ ബ്ലോക്ക്-മുനിസിപ്പല്‍ ടീമുകളുടെയും സോഷ്യല്‍ ഓഡിറ്റ് സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെയും നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ നൂറു ശതമാനം ഗണഭോക്താക്കളെയും നേരില്‍ കണ്ടു. ജില്ല ടീമിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ 10 ശതമാനം, സംസ്ഥാനതല ടീമിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ഒരു ശതമാനവും പരിശോധന നടത്തി. മണ്ഡലാടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ എംഎല്‍എമാര്‍ നടത്തിയ അവലോകനയോഗം, ജില്ലാ ഭരണകൂടം, ജില്ലാ വികസന സമിതി, ജില്ലാ നോഡല്‍ ഓഫീസ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഇടപെടലാണ് പദ്ധതിയെ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലെത്തിച്ചതെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. എഡിഎം ബി ജ്യോതി അധ്യക്ഷയായി. എംഎല്‍എ മാരായ മാത്യൂ ടി തോമസ്, കെ യു ജനീഷ് കുമാര്‍, പ്രമോദ് നാരായണ്‍, ജില്ലാ പ്ലാനിംഗ് ഓഫീസര്‍ ദീപ ചന്ദ്രന്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
വീട് നിര്‍മിക്കാന്‍ സ്വന്തമായി ഭൂമിയില്ലാത്ത 18 പേര്‍ക്ക് റവന്യു ഭൂമി കണ്ടെത്തി. റാന്നി താലൂക്കിലെ ഒരു പട്ടികവര്‍ഗ ഗുണഭോക്താവിനും അടൂര്‍ താലൂക്കില്‍ മൂന്നും കോന്നി താലൂക്കില്‍ ഒരാള്‍ക്കും ഭൂമി നല്‍കി. തിരുവല്ല താലൂക്കില്‍ 13 പേര്‍ക്ക് കടപ്ര വില്ലേജില്‍ ഭൂമി കണ്ടെത്തി സര്‍വേ നടപടി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി. 327 ഗുണഭോക്താക്കളില്‍ 259 പേര്‍ക്ക് ഭവനം നിര്‍മിച്ചു. 68 വീടുകളുടെ നിര്‍മാണം പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നു.
അതിദരിദ്ര ഗുണഭോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് ചികിത്സ, ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ, ആരോഗ്യസേവനം എന്നിവ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് മെഡിക്കല്‍ ബോര്‍ഡിന്റെ ശുപാര്‍ശയോടെ ധനസഹായം നല്‍കും. ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ അതിദരിദ്രരുടെ വീടുകളില്‍ വാതില്‍പ്പടി സേവനവും നല്‍കുന്നു. ജനകീയ ആരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രത്തിലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ അതിദരിദ്ര കുടുംബങ്ങളെ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ച് വാതില്‍പ്പടിയായി ആരോഗ്യ സ്‌ക്രീനിംഗും സൗജന്യ രക്ത പരിശോധനയും നടത്തുന്നു. വിദഗ്ദ ചികിത്സ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് സൗജന്യമായി നല്‍കുന്നു. ആരോഗ്യ ഇന്‍ഷൂറന്‍സ് പരിരക്ഷ, ശാരീരിക മാനസിക വൈകല്യമുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് സാമൂഹിക വകുപ്പിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ യുഡിഐഡി കാര്‍ഡ്, കിടപ്പുരോഗികള്‍ക്ക് പാലിയേറ്റീവ് പരിചരണവും ആംബുലന്‍സ് സൗകര്യവും നല്‍കുന്നു.
Pathanamthitta becomes a district without extreme poverty:Minister Veena George made the announcement; 2392 families were lifted out of extreme poverty
Health Minister Veena George has declared Pathanamthitta as an extreme poverty-free district. The minister made the announcement at the District Development Committee held at the Collectorate Conference Hall. 2392 families in the district were made extreme poverty-free and provided with necessary benefits. Excluding Thumbamon Grama Panchayat, which does not have extreme poverty, 2579 families were initially identified as extreme poverty in 56 local bodies in the district. Of these, 187 were excluded, including those who died, wandered around, and doubled in the count. The microplan was prepared by including the necessary services for each family based on the general components of food, health, income, and shelter. Food was provided to 724 families, health services to 924 families, shelter to 327 families, and income-generating opportunities to 91 families.
Among the families in need of health services, care was ensured for 157 bedridden patients and medical equipment for six. Various entitlement documents were allotted to 808 families by quickly including their rights in the project. Drinking water, toilets, houses and electrification were completed. To ensure the quality of service, 100 percent of the beneficiaries were met in person under the leadership of the block-municipal teams and the social audit society. 10 percent were inspected under the leadership of the district team and one percent under the leadership of the state-level team. The minister said that the review meeting held by the MLAs at the constituency level, the intervention of the district administration, the district development committee and the district nodal office led to the project reaching its target. ADM B Jyothi presided over the meeting. MLAs Mathew T Thomas, KU Janish Kumar, Pramod Narayan and District Planning Officer Deepa Chandran participated.
Revenue land has been identified for 18 people who do not have their own land to build houses. Land has been provided to one Scheduled Tribe beneficiary in Ranni taluk, three in Adoor taluk and one in Konni taluk. Land has been identified for 13 people in Kadapra village in Thiruvalla taluk and the survey process has been completed. Houses have been constructed for 259 out of 327 beneficiaries. Construction of 68 houses is in progress.
Financial assistance will be provided to the extremely poor beneficiaries who need treatment, surgery and health services with the recommendation of the Medical Board. Door-to-door service is also provided to the homes of the extremely poor under the leadership of the Health Department. The workers of the Janakiya Arogya Kendra visit the extremely poor families and conduct health screening and free blood tests at their doorsteps. Specialist treatment is provided free of cost to those who need it. Health insurance coverage, UDID card is provided to those with physical and mental disabilities with the help of the Social Welfare Department, palliative care and ambulance facilities are provided to bedridden patients.
