കേരളത്തിലെ പത്തനംതിട്ട (ഓറഞ്ച് അലർട്ട് : അടുത്ത മൂന്ന്‌ മണിക്കൂർ മാത്രം) ജില്ലയിലെ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടയിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇടിമിന്നലോട് കൂടിയ ശക്തമായ മഴയ്ക്കും മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊല്ലം, ആലപ്പുഴ, കോട്ടയം, എറണാകുളം ജില്ലകളിൽ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടയിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇടിമിന്നലോട് കൂടിയ നേരിയ/ഇടത്തരം മഴയ്ക്കും മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും ഇടുക്കി, കോഴിക്കോട്, വയനാട്, കണ്ണൂർ, കാസറഗോഡ് ജില്ലകളിൽ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടയിടങ്ങളിൽ നേരിയ മഴയ്ക്കും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു.
അടുത്ത 3 മണിക്കൂറിൽ സന്നിധാനം, പമ്പ, നിലയ്ക്കൽ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇടിമിന്നലോടു കൂടിയ ഇടത്തരം (5-15 mm/h) മഴയ്ക്കും മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിൽ ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു.
