ഹിമാചൽ പ്രദേശിൽ വർധിച്ചുവരുന്ന പ്രകൃതിദുരന്തങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണവും തീവ്രതയും കണക്കിലെടുത്ത്, ഒരു ബഹുമുഖ കേന്ദ്ര സംഘം (multi-sectoral central team) രൂപീകരിക്കാൻ കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രിയും സഹകരണ മന്ത്രിയുമായ അമിത് ഷാ നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകി.
ഹിമാചൽ പ്രദേശിൽ മേഘവിസ്ഫോടനം, മിന്നൽ പ്രളയം, മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ, പേമാരി എന്നിവയുടെ എണ്ണത്തിലും തീവ്രതയിലും വർദ്ധനവ് ഉണ്ടായതായി കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ അടുത്തിടെ ചേർന്ന യോഗം വിലയിരുത്തി. ഇത് വലിയ തോതിൽ ആളപായത്തിനും അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങൾക്കും ഉപജീവനമാർഗങ്ങൾക്കും നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങൾ വരുത്തിയതിനൊപ്പം പരിസ്ഥിതി നാശത്തിനും കാരണമായി.
ഇതേത്തുടർന്ന് ദേശീയ ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റി (NDMA), സെൻട്രൽ ബിൽഡിംഗ് റിസർച്ച് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് (CBRI) റൂർക്കി, ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ട്രോപ്പിക്കൽ മെറ്റീരിയോളജി (IITM) പൂനെ, ജിയോളജിസ്റ്റുകൾ, ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്നോളജി ഇൻഡോർ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ വിദഗ്ധരെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി ഒരു ബഹുമുഖ കേന്ദ്ര സംഘം അടിയന്തിരമായി രൂപീകരിക്കാൻ കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രി അമിത് ഷാ ഉത്തരവിട്ടു.
കൂടാതെ, 2025-ലെ തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറൻ മൺസൂൺ കാലത്ത് ഹിമാചൽ പ്രദേശിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലുണ്ടായ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം, മിന്നൽ പ്രളയം മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ എന്നിവയുടെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ, സംസ്ഥാനത്തിനുണ്ടായ നഷ്ടം നേരിട്ട് വിലയിരുത്തുന്നതിനായി കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രിതല സംഘത്തെ അവരുടെ നിവേദനത്തിന് കാത്തുനിൽക്കാതെ ഗവണ്മെന്റ് മുൻകൂട്ടി നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ സംഘംത്തിന്റെ, 2025 ജൂലൈ 18 മുതൽ 21 വരെയുള്ള സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ദുരിതബാധിത പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ സന്ദർശനം തുടരുകയാണ്.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ, ദുരന്തസമയങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു വിവേചനവുമില്ലാതെ കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്മെന്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി, കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര, സഹകരണ മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ അമിത് ഷാ അധ്യക്ഷനായ ഉന്നതതല സമിതി, 2023-ൽ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം, മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ, മേഘവിസ്ഫോടനം തുടങ്ങിയ ദുരന്തങ്ങൾ ബാധിച്ച ഹിമാചൽ പ്രദേശിൽ രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കും പുനർനിർമ്മാണത്തിനുമായി 2006.40 കോടി രൂപ അനുവദിച്ചു. ഇതിൽ ആദ്യ ഗഡുവായ 451.44 കോടി രൂപ 2025 ജൂലൈ 7-ന് നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു.
കൂടാതെ, സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ദുരിതബാധിതരെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്നതിനായി, അടിയന്തര സ്വഭാവമുള്ള ദുരിതാശ്വാസ നടപടികൾക്കായി കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്മെന്റ് സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ നിധിയിൽ നിന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര വിഹിതത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ ഗഡുവായ 198.80 കോടി രൂപ 2025 ജൂൺ 18-ന് ഹിമാചൽ പ്രദേശിന് കൈമാറിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഹിമാചൽ പ്രദേശ് ഉൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾക്കും ആവശ്യമായ ദേശീയ ദുരന്ത നിവാരണസേന സംഘങ്ങൾ സൈനിക സംഘങ്ങൾ, വ്യോമസേനയുടെ പിന്തുണ എന്നിവയുൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാ ലോജിസ്റ്റിക് സഹായങ്ങളും കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്മെന്റ് നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിലവിൽ രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കായി 13 എൻഡിആർഎഫ് ടീമുകൾ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് വിന്യസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah directed the formation of a multi-sectoral central team in view of the frequency and intensity of natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh.
In a recent meeting under the leadership of Union Home Minister it was observed that the state has witnessed an increase in the frequency and intensity of cloudbursts, flash floods, landslides and torrential rainfall, causing widespread loss of life, damage to infrastructure, livelihoods and environmental degradation in the State. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah immediately ordered to constitute a multi-sectoral Central Team comprising experts from National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) Roorkee, Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) Pune, Geologist, and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore.
Further, in the wake of flood, flash flood and landslides during South West monsoon 2025 in different parts of Himachal Pradesh, Central Government has already deputed an Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) in advance, without waiting for their Memorandum, for on-the-spot first-hand assessment of the damages. IMCT is visiting the affected areas of the State from 18-21 July 2025.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government stands firmly with the states in times of disasters without any discrimination. In this direction, a high-level committee chaired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah has already approved an outlay of ₹2006.40 crore to Himachal Pradesh for recovery and reconstruction in areas affected by disasters like floods, landslides and cloudbursts for the year 2023, and has also released first instalment of Rs. 451.44 crore on 7th July 2025.
Further, in order to support the affected people of the State, the Central Government has already released 1st installment of Central share of Rs. 198.80 crore to Himachal Pradesh from State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) on 18th June 2025, for relief measures of immediate nature. Central Government has also provided all logistic assistance to all states, including Himachal Pradesh, including deployment of requisite National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams, Army teams and Air Force support. Total 13 teams of NDRF are deployed in the State for rescue and relief operations.
