ഈജിപ്തിലെ കെയ്‌റോയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന സഹാറ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര കാർഷിക പ്രദർശനമേളയുടെ 37-ാമത് പതിപ്പിൽ, ‘ഇന്ത്യൻ കയർ പവലിയൻ’, ഈജിപ്തിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ അംബാസഡർ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. 2025 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 14 മുതൽ 16 വരെ കെയ്‌റോയിലെ ഈജിപ്ത് ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ എക്സിബിഷൻ സെന്ററിലാണ് (ഇഐഇസി) അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര കാർഷിക പ്രദർശനമേള സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ചടങ്ങിൽ, ഈജിപ്തിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ അംബാസഡർ സുരേഷ് കെ. റെഡ്ഡി ഇന്ത്യൻ കയർ പവലിയൻ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യുകയും കയർ സംരംഭകരുടെ സ്റ്റാളുകൾ സന്ദർശിച്ച് അവരുമായി സംവദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഈജിപ്തിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ എംഎസ്എംഇകളുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തെ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രശംസിക്കുകയും ഇന്ത്യൻ കയർ ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ കയറ്റുമതി സാധ്യതകൾ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള വിലയേറിയ നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ പങ്കുവെക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.പുതിയ വിപണികൾ കണ്ടെത്താനും ആഗോളതലത്തിൽ സാന്നിധ്യം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്താനും അദ്ദേഹം സംരംഭകരെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചു.
ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പത്ത് സംരംഭകർ പ്രദർശനത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. എംഎസ്എംഇ മന്ത്രാലയ ഡയറക്ടറും കയർ ബോർഡ്സെക്രട്ടറിയുമായ അരുൺ ജ്ഞാനശേഖരൻ ആണ് ഇന്ത്യൻ എംഎസ്എംഇ പ്രതിനിധി സംഘത്തെ നയിച്ചത്. ഉദ്ഘാടന വേളയിൽ, കയർ ബോർഡിലെ സീനിയർ സയന്റിഫിക് ഓഫീസർ ഡോ. വിവേക് പ്രസാദ് ഷാ, ഇന്ത്യൻ കയർ ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ നേട്ടങ്ങളെയും , കയർപിത്ത് പോലുള്ളവയുടെ കയറ്റുമതി സാധ്യതകളെയും കുറിച്ച് വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ഈജിപ്തിലെ കാർഷിക, പൂന്തോട്ടപരിപാലന മേഖലകളിൽ പ്രയോജനകരമായ നൂതന കയർ അധിഷ്ഠിത ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങൾ, പരിപാടിയിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ സംരംഭങ്ങൾ പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചു.

Ambassador of India to the Arab Republic of Egypt inaugurates the Indian Coir Pavilion at the 37th Edition of Sahara International Agricultural Exhibition, Cairo, Egypt on 14th September, 2025 . The International Agricultural Exhibition is being held from 14–16 September 2025 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC), Cairo. During the event, Suresh K. Reddy, the Ambassador of India to the Arab Republic of Egypt inaugurated the Indian Coir Pavilion and visited the stalls of the coir entrepreneurs and interacted with them. The Ambassador commended the participation of Indian MSMEs in Egypt and shared valuable suggestions to further enhancement of export potential of Indian coir products. He encouraged the entrepreneurs to explore new markets and strengthen their global presence
A total of ten entrepreneurs from India participated in the exhibition. The Indian delegation of MSMEs has been led by the Arun Gnanasekaran IES, Director, Ministry of MSME and Secretary, Coir Board participated in the exhibition. During the inauguration, Dr. Vivek Prasad Shaw, Senior Scientific Officer from Coir Board, has explained about the benefits and export potential of Indian coir products such as Coir pith in Egypt. The Indian enterprises showcased their innovative coir-based products which are beneficial in Agricultural and Horticultural applications in Egypt.
