പ്രധാന നാവികത്താവളങ്ങൾ അല്ലാത്ത സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയുടെ ശ്രമങ്ങളുടെ തുടർച്ചയാണിത്. മുമ്പ് ഒഡീഷയിലെ പുരിയിലും മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ സിന്ധുദുർഗ്ഗിലുമാണ് ഈ ആഘോഷം നടന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയുടെ വിവിധ തലങ്ങളിലുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് നേരിട്ട് കാണാനുള്ള അനന്യമായ അവസരമാണ് ഈ മഹോത്സവം ഒരുക്കുന്നത്.
മഹാസാഗറിന്റെ (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions -മേഖലയിലുടനീളം സുരക്ഷയ്ക്കും വളർച്ചയ്ക്കുമായി പരസ്പരവും സമഗ്രവുമായ മുന്നേറ്റം) വിശാലമായ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടിനാൽ നയിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന നാവികസേന, ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാസമുദ്ര മേഖലയിലെ ‘അഭികാമ്യമായ സുരക്ഷാ പങ്കാളി'(‘Preferred Security Partner’-IOR) എന്ന നിലയിലുള്ള അതിന്റെ അത്യാധുനിക പ്രവർത്തന പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമുകളും നിശ്ചയദാർഢ്യവും ഈ സൈനിക പ്രദർശനത്തിലൂടെ പ്രകടമാക്കും. ഈ പരിപാടി രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ വർദ്ധിച്ചു വരുന്ന സമുദ്രശക്തിയും സ്വാശ്രയത്വവും പ്രതിഫലിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം നാവികസേനയുടെ അതിശക്തമായ പോരാട്ട ശേഷി, സാങ്കേതിക മികവ്, ഓപ്പറേഷണൽ സജ്ജത എന്നിവയും സജീവമായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കും.
നാവികസേനയുടെ പോരാട്ട ശേഷിയും സമുദ്രമേഖലയിലുടനീളം കൃത്യതയോടെ ശക്തി പ്രയോഗിക്കാനുള്ള കഴിവും പ്രതീകാത്മകമായി മുൻനിര പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമുകൾ ഏകോപിച്ചുള്ള അഭ്യാസങ്ങളിലൂടെ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കും. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സമുദ്ര അതിർത്തികൾ സുരക്ഷിതമാക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നാവികസേനയുടെ തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിനെ പ്രതിഫലിപ്പിക്കുന്ന, ഉപരിതല, ഉപ-ഉപരിതല, ആകാശ മാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിലുള്ള പ്രതിരോധ സംവിധാനങ്ങളുടെ തടസ്സമില്ലാത്ത ഏകോപിത നീക്കങ്ങൾ ഈ പ്രദർശനത്തിൽ പ്രധാനമായും ഉയർത്തിക്കാട്ടും.

ഓപ്പറേഷൻ സിന്ദൂരിൽ പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നാവികസേനയുടെ സുസ്സജ്ജതയും പ്രതിരോധ ശേഷിയും ഈ ആഘോഷം എടുത്തു കാണിക്കും. കൃത്യത, വേഗത, ആധിപത്യം എന്നിവയോടെ ആക്രമിക്കാനുള്ള നാവികസേനയുടെ ശേഷി ഇത് ആവർത്തിച്ചുറപ്പിക്കുന്നു. രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ പരമാധികാരവും സമുദ്ര താൽപ്പര്യങ്ങളും സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയിലെ ധീരരായ പുരുഷ- വനിതാ സൈനികർക്കുള്ള ആദരവായി ഈ പ്രകടനം നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
1971-ലെ ഇന്തോ-പാക് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ശത്രുവിന്റെ നാവിക-തീര പ്രതിരോധത്തിന് കനത്ത പ്രഹരമേല്പിച്ച നാവികസേനയുടെ നിർണായക പങ്കിന്റെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തലായി നാവികസേനാ ദിനം വർത്തിക്കുന്നു. ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ട്രൈഡൻ്റിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയുടെ മിസൈൽ ബോട്ടുകൾ കറാച്ചി തുറമുഖത്ത് ധീരമായ ആക്രമണം അഴിച്ചുവിട്ടു. ഈ നിർണ്ണായക നടപടി ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സമുദ്ര ശക്തി മാത്രമല്ല, കൃത്യത, ധൈര്യം, തന്ത്രപരമായ മികവ് എന്നിവയും പ്രകടമാക്കി. പോരാട്ട സജ്ജവും, ഏകീകൃതവും, വിശ്വസനീയവും , ആത്മനിർഭരവുമായ ഒരു ശക്തി എന്ന നിലയിൽ വികസിതവും സമൃദ്ധവുമായ ഭാരതത്തിനുവേണ്ടി സാഗരങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയുടെ സമുദ്ര മികവിൻ്റെ ഒരു ആഘോഷമായിരിക്കും നാവികസേനദിനം 2025-ലെ ഈ ഓപ്പറേഷണൽ പ്രദർശനം.
CURTAIN RAISER – INDIAN NAVY TO CELEBRATE NAVY DAY 2025 WITH GRAND OPERATIONAL DEMONSTRATION AT THIRUVANANTHAPURAM
The Indian Navy will celebrate Navy Day 2025 with a spectacular Operational Demonstration on 04 Dec 2025 at Shangumugham beach, Thiruvananthapuram.
This is in continuation of Indian Navy’s effort to organise the event at a location other than major Naval stations. Previously, it was held at Puri in Odisha and Sindhudurg in Maharashtra. This mega event will provide a unique opportunity to the citizens to witness various facets of Indian Navy’s multi domain operations. The Operational Demonstration will showcase Indian Navy’s state of the art operational platforms and it’s resolve as the ‘Preferred Security Partner’ in the Indian Ocean Region(IOR) guided by the broader vision of MAHASAGAR (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions). The event will bring alive the Navy’s formidable combat capabilities, technological excellence, and operational readiness, while reflecting the nation’s growing maritime strength and self-reliance.
The Operational Demonstration will feature coordinated manoeuvres by frontline platforms symbolising the Navy’s ability to deliver power and precision across the maritime spectrum. The event will highlight seamless coordination of surface, sub-surface, and aerial assets, reflecting the Navy’s preparedness to secure India’s maritime frontiers.
Reflecting the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the demonstration will feature a range of indigenously built assets representing India’s growing self-reliance in defence manufacturing. These platforms embody the Navy’s sustained efforts under ‘Make in India’ vision to build a modern, technologically advanced, and future-ready maritime force. The celebration will also highlight the Navy’s state of preparedness and deterrent capability as displayed during Operation Sindoor, reaffirming its ability to strike with precision, speed, and dominance. The demonstration stands as a tribute to the professionalism, discipline, and courage of the men and women of the Indian Navy who safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and maritime interests.
Navy Day serves as a reminder of the Navy’s vital role during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, that dealt a decisive blow to enemy’s Naval and Coastal Defences. The missile boats of the Indian Navy launched a daring attack on Karachi harbour, as part of Operation Trident. This decisive action not only demonstrated India’s maritime strength but also precision, courage and strategic brilliance. The Operational Demonstration 2025 will be a celebration of Indian Navy’s maritime excellence as a Combat Ready, Cohesive, Credible, Aatmanirbhar Force, safeguarding seas for a Viksit, Samriddha Bharat.
